Terms of Service

Idea2Life lets you describe an app idea in plain English and generates a working app from that description, using AI. It's a real, working product — not a mockup or wireframe — but it is generated by AI, and you're responsible for reviewing what it builds before relying on it for anything important, especially anything handling real user data, payments, or safety-critical functions.

You need an account to use Idea2Life, created through our authentication provider (Clerk). You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must be legally able to enter into these terms to create an account.

New accounts get 2 free builds. After that, building an app requires a Credit, purchased through our payment processor, Stripe. We never see or store your full card details — Stripe handles payment directly.

Credit purchases are generally final. If something went wrong with a purchase, contact Support and we'll look into it, but we don't guarantee a refund simply because you changed your mind or didn't use a purchased Credit.

Purchased Credits — whether a single Credit or the 10-Credit pack — expire 4 months after purchase if unused. Idea2Life doesn't offer a subscription plan; every Credit purchase is one-time.

Once your app is built, you can choose to publish it, making it a real, publicly accessible site. You can also search for and purchase a custom domain to attach to it.

Domain purchases are real financial transactions with a real domain registrar, charged to you directly, and are subject to that registrar's own rules (including ICANN's requirement for accurate registrant contact information). Domain purchases are billed annually and renew automatically each year unless you cancel the renewal before it charges. Domain registrations are, industry-wide, generally non-refundable once purchased — we can't reverse a completed domain purchase.

You're responsible for what you publish. Don't publish anything illegal, infringing, or that violates the Acceptable Use section below.

You own the idea you describe, any photos you upload, and the app that gets generated for you. You grant us the license we need to process that content in order to build, store, and (if you choose to publish it) serve your app — nothing more.

AI-generated code and content can contain mistakes, security issues, or behavior you didn't intend. We don't warrant that generated apps are correct, secure, or fit for any particular purpose. Review generated code before using it for anything where a mistake would actually matter.

Don't use Idea2Life to build or publish anything illegal, to harass or harm others, to infringe someone else's rights, to distribute malware, or to abuse or overload the service (including automated abuse of the free-build grant). We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate this.

Idea2Life is built on top of several third-party services that each have their own terms: Clerk (authentication), Stripe (payments), Anthropic (the AI models that generate your app), and Vercel (hosting, publishing, and domain registration). Using Idea2Life means data related to your account and usage passes through these providers as described in our Privacy Policy.

Idea2Life is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including losses related to a domain purchase, a published app's behavior, or AI-generated content.

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll update the “Last updated” date above. Continuing to use Idea2Life after a change means you accept the updated terms.
